Daniel Ferebee, LCSW-C

Mr. Ferebee is a licensed clinical psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. With experiences as a foster care worker, school-based social worker, and mental health clinician, Mr. Ferebee strives to offer services that focus on the client's strengths and competencies as integral components of the rehabilitative process. Mr. Ferebee is dedicated to serving individuals, families and communities through providing a therapeutic venue where all clients can receive an exemplary standard of mental health services.
Ricardo D. LaGrange, Ph.D.
CO-OWNER/COO/VICE-PRESIDENT
Dr. LaGrange is a Licensed Clinical and Research Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the fields of public health; psychotherapy and counseling; training and consultation; seminar and workshop presentation; and evidence-based practices. Dr. LaGrange received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia, his Masters’ degree in Public Health from George Washington University and Doctorate degree in Psychology from Howard University. He has proven expertise in the science of behavioral change and leading healthcare-related initiatives with high-risk populations across multiple sectors. Dr. LaGrange approaches his clinical work with the belief that each client possesses unique strengths that through treatment can be harnessed to navigate even the most challenging problems. Trained as a scientist-practitioner and adjunct professor, Dr. LaGrange is dedicated to providing proven and state-of-the-art psychological services.
Donitra Ross, Psy. D
Dr. Ross is a psychology associate, trained to provide individual therapy, group therapy, and couples/family therapy. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology and a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Professional Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology, Argosy University, Northern Virginia. She has specialized training in providing trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, substance abuse treatment, crisis management/intervention, and supportive therapy for those diagnosed with serious mental illness (e.g., schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder). She also has extensive training and over 10 years of experience in conducting consultation, supervision, and developing/providing continuing education training. Dr. Ross has a specific interest in working with adolescents and adults who have experienced complex trauma, veterans/active duty military, and individuals transitioning into the community after experiencing incarceration. She is passionate about social justice, increasing diversity awareness, conducting clinical research, teaching, and supporting others as they accomplish their goals.
Jenita Griffin, Psy. D, LCPC, HSP
Dr. Griffin has been a licensed mental health provider in Maryland for over 15 years and is a member of the National Register for Health Service Psychologists. Dr. Griffin is a Clinical Psychologist and Supervisor at BASICS where she lends her clinical and program expertise in treatment for children, adolescents, and adults who suffer from trauma, anxiety and depressive disorders. In other roles, Dr. Griffin’s practice includes: making court appearances or expert witness testimony on the behalf of clients; providing consultations in the educational system; providing compensation and pension evaluations of veterans for the Nurse Practitioners Group; implementing services in outpatient mental health clinics, and hospitals; and mentoring inspired psychology majors.

Daniel Hutson, Psy. D
Dr. Hutson is a psychology associate with over 7 years of clinical experience. Dr. Hutson received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Excelsior College, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology, Argosy University, and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Hutson has formal training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, and Gottman Method Couples Training (1 & 2). Dr. Hutson has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. He successfully treats depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, and trauma, but his passion is working with couples.

Maria Moore, Administrative Assistant
Ms. Moore is a graduate of Maryland University Global College with 2 years of healthcare experience along with 15 years of Human Resources Management. Ms. Moore plays a vital role with the Office Manager in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the practice. Among a wide range of responsibilities, she facilitates insurance verification, updates patient accounts, and triages all office calls and inquiries.
Richard Miller, Psy. D
Dr. Miller is a Psychology Associate and a life-long academic scholar with four degrees in the area of mental health including: a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Long Island University (C.W. Post), a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University, a second Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology (ASPP), and a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology also from the American School of Professional Psychology (ASPP). Dr. Miller has a plethora of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families and has also shown proficiency working with couples as a Certified (Level 2) Gottman Couples Therapist.
With an assimilative psychodynamic approach, Dr. Miller magnifies the impact of traditional psychodynamic therapy using various active interventions including behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, family systems, and mindfulness techniques. Dr. Miller has been successful using mindfulness meditation practices in a solution-focused manner for the treatment of anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder in children and adults. As an advanced practitioner-scholar, Dr. Miller endeavors to focus on the practical application of accumulated scholarly knowledge to provide exceptional, holistic treatment designed to meet the specific needs of the client.
